Tombow Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! 

I'm excited to be participating in a blog hop with the Lawn Fawn Design Team and Tombow! You should have arrived here from Katie's blog! 

I used Lawn Fawn's Aloha stamp set and Tombow Bright Palette dual brush pens to create this card. The Tombow blending palette and blender pen make coloring super easy-- just scribble on the blending palette and pick the color up with the blender pen. 

I also used several colors of markers to create the lined background for the pineapples. 

The card is finished with a sentiment from the Aloha stamp set.

Ahoy Matey Slider Card + Video

Today I'm at the Lawn Fawn blog today sharing a slider card using Ahoy Matey. 

How fun is the slider element? 

I also love the new Push Here stamp set, which is great for adding instructions to interactive cards. 

Since I couldn't fit a sentiment on the front, I stamped it on the inside:

Love Ya Bunches!

Today we have a fabulous new release from Lawn Fawn created exclusively for Ellen Hutson's United We Flourish! 

I thought it would be fun to create a spinner card using the two hanging monkeys, which are mirror images of each other. 

The set includes 3 monkeys, vines for hanging, and several styles of bananas for the monkeys to hold. It also includes a bunch of punny sentiments, which will definitely make your recipient smile :)

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week

Today is the last day of Lawn Fawn's June Inspiration Week! 

Today I have a card featuring the new celebrate border die: 

I used the Pretty Poppies dies, which were colored with distress oxide ink, to create this card. 

I also used one the previously released banner dies to really make the sentiment pop. The card is finished with a few clear dew drops.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Pretty Poppies

Today we're showcasing Pretty Poppies, which is an awesome die set that creates a large and small poppy flower and several sizes of leaves.

For my card, I used the smaller flower die as well as several leaves, which were all watercolored with Gansai Tambi watercolors. 

The sentiment, from the Aloha stamp set, is white heat embossed on black licorice cardstock.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Aloha

Today we're featuring one of my favorite stamp sets from the summer release: Aloha. We're also showcasing the new scripty Aloha die. 

I thought it would be fun to color the pineapple with fun, bright colors, which I did with several colors of copic markers. 

The bold, black Aloha die really pops on the colorful card. I also splattered some black ink on the card panel to coordinate with the word die.

Today we're featuring Push Here, which is the perfect stamp set to accompany interactive cards.

I used the Ahoy, Matey stamp set to create this fun slider card. 

I love that Push Here includes a variety of different verbs to let your recipient know that the card is interactive.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Plane and Simple & Stitched Trails

It's the start of June Inspiration Week where we will be showcasing the remainder of Lawn Fawn's summer release! 

Today we're highlighting Plane & Simple, which is an adorable aviation themed set and Stitched Trails, which are several stitched dies to create the look of movement on a card. 

Here's the card I created using both sets: 

I started by blending a worn lipstick and fossilized amber distress oxide inks onto some watercolor cardstock. I then stamped and die cut the paper airplane from Plane and Simple. 

After I arranged the paper airplanes on the card, I die cut 3 of the stitched trails onto the card base. I the card is finished with some black lawn trimmings.
